Wanderer [ONE SHOT]

It's been five years since the love of my life left town with out me knowing, our band we use to have went down the drain and i just wish i knew where she was so i could find her and be with her once again.

i sighted getting out of bed and looking out the window of my bedroom watching the sunrise, wondering if she was doing the same thing were ever she is. I got up and walked to the lounge room and sat down.

"if only i had the guts to go out and start searching for you" i mummbed to myself with my head in my hands.

Suddenly i head a door upstairs open and close and soon foot steps came closer to me and i look up.

"oh hey Zac" i said to my younger brother

"what cha doing?" he said 

"oh wait let me guess your thinking about Hayley again" zac said

"yeah" i said and looked down at the wooden floor boards.

"well why are you sitting here go find her!" he said

"i want to but.... i dont know where to start Zac she could be any where in the country" i said

"thats true, but you have to try" Zac said

"yeah i may as well go" i said and got up and started packing some clothes into a backpack and headed down stairs and got in the car and started driving, i didnt know where but i had to start some where.

Im here now, where you once were

i'll find the guts to go,

draw those maps i'll walk those roads.

i got the next town and stopped, to rest and i decided to give Taylor a call, i haven't spoken to him in a long time either.... maybe he knows where i can find Hayley....

"hello?" Taylor said

"hey Tay it's Josh" i said

"oh hey man i havent spoken to you in ages! how are you" he said

'im good man, i was just wondering if you have seen or heard from Hayley.... im sort of looking for her" i said

"oh... umm the last i heard from her she went back to Mississippi but that was two years ago so i dont know if she still lives there, but Jemery lives there down" Taylor said

"thanks man, um do you have Jeremy's address so i could go see him and see if he knows anything?" i asked

"sure i will text it to you" he said 

"ok thanks dude bye" i said

"good luck finding her and i hope to see you soon!" he said and with that he hung up.

Close those eyes and i'll turn my tricks

Sun down im sturring awake,

The drive to Jeremy's started, it was going to be a long drive to Mississippi.

The next morning i reached the town and started driving around trying to find Jeremy's house, a drove a little bit more down the street till i reached the address Taylor gave me, i looked at the house it was a massive white two story house with a pretty looking garden outside.

i parked the car and got out and slowly walked up to the front door of this house.

i knocked a few time and i heard foot steps coming towards the door and it opened....

"JOSH" Kat screamed with excitement 

"hey Kat, i long time no see" i said and chuckled

"come in come in" she said and let me in the house

"how are you" she said leading the way to the lounge room

"im good i was just wondering if Jeremy is here to see if he knew where Hayley lived" i said

"oh yeah Jeremy is here.... JEREMY GET YOUR BUTT DOWN HERE" Kat yelled

Jeremy came running into the room

"wha.. whats wrong?" he said walking into the room not noticing me

"look" kat said pointing to me

"hey Jer" i said

"oh wow Josh i havent seen you in ages how are you? how is Zac?" he said asking me a million questions

"good good" i said

"thats good!, so what brings you all the way here?" he said

"well im kind of looking for Hayley" i said

"oh... well she lives over in the next street" He said

"oh really" i said getting my hopes up

"buttttt i have to warn you" Jeremy said

"why? whats wrong?" i said

"if you thinking of trying to get back with her.... well she had a boyfriend" Jeremy said

"oh" i said and looked down at the ground again.

I heard that you have fallen in love,

but i know that can't be cause im on top of the world.

I got up from the lounge and was about to leave Jeremy and Kat's house

"thanks for the tea" i said to Kat

"no worried make sure you vist us again sometime very soon" she said while i stood at the front door

"and bring Zac with you too!" Jeremy said

"i will"

"bye Josh" Jeremy said

"bye guys!" i said and walked back to my car and got in and drove to the address Jeremy gave me.

I parked the car in front of the house, it was a cute little cottage looking house covered in stones with a rose garden out the front leading to her door. I sat there neverous.

'oh man should i really do this" i said to myself.

i got out of the car and walked towards her front door, i knocked on it a few time until i saw a pretty girl open the door with crazy orange and red hair.

'Hay.. Hayley?" i said

"Josh" she whispered and hugged me

"i thought i'd never find you" i said and hugged her back

"i missed you so much" she said

"Me too" i said and pulled away from the hug and looked into her eyes

"why did you leave?" i asked her

"i..i had to leave Franklin because there was too many bad things were happening to me there... im sorry i should of told you i was leaving" she said and tears slowly started to run down her cheeks and i hugged her.

Im a wanderer for you.
